Marywebedit(1)Mary Ropp spent nearly 20 years in the direct sale industry, spending the last 10 of those years conducting corporate sales and management training in addition to selling and managing her own business. Then, she discovered her passion for the world of finance.

She received her securities licenses and began working for an international bank in 2004 before moving to Columbia, Missouri, and accepting a position as a Business Development Officer at a community bank in January 2009. In November 2013, she accepted a position in a statewide management role in business development at that same bank.  In May 2016, Mary accepted a new Sales and Marketing role at a Financial company that encompasses the Midwest.

In 2015, Ropp became the chair of the Heart of Missouri United Way. She used her coaching and selling skills, and knowledge of small business to lead the Heart of Missouri United Way’s one of the most successful community campaigns to date. Recently Mary accepted the role of President of a brand new Rotary in Columbia MO.  In this blog, she shares the sales principles that can be applied to any business, nonprofit or organization to find success in business development.
